Our Steel Production Process
1. Material Preparation
The journey of our steel begins with the meticulous collection and sorting of raw materials, primarily high-grade scrap metal, supplemented by iron ore and other necessary alloys. This rigorous preparation phase ensures the purity and quality of the charge fed into our furnaces.
2. Melting & Refining
Materials are melted in our powerful electric arc furnaces at extremely high temperatures. This is followed by a refining process in ladle furnaces, where impurities are removed, and the steel's chemical composition is precisely adjusted to meet specific grade requirements.
3. Casting
The molten, refined steel is then transferred to continuous casting machines. Here, it's solidified into continuous strands which are cut into semi-finished products like billets (square or round), blooms (larger), or slabs (rectangular), depending on the intended final product shape.
4. Rolling & Shaping
Semi-finished products are reheated and passed through a series of rolling mills. These mills progressively reduce the cross-section and shape the steel into its final form, such as rebar, structural profiles, wires, or sheets, while also enhancing mechanical properties.
5. Quality Control
Throughout the entire process, and especially on the finished products, rigorous quality control tests are conducted. These include chemical analysis, mechanical testing (tensile strength, hardness), ultrasonic testing for internal defects, and dimensional checks, ensuring every product meets national and international standards.
6. Distribution
Finally, the certified finished steel products are cooled, cut to specified lengths, bundled, and carefully packaged. Our logistics team then manages the efficient and safe transportation and delivery to client sites via road, rail, or sea, ensuring your order arrives in perfect condition.
